Walter Havighurst Special Collections & University Archives Research Appointment
The Walter Havighurst Special Collections & University Archives are open to all researchers, including students, faculty, and independent scholars. All researchers are required to complete a brief registration form and present valid photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, student ID, etc.). Special Collections is a closed-stacks library. All requested materials are retrieved by staff and may be used only in the Reading Room.
If you are planning to come with other people, each person must book their appointment and register separately. Only four (4) seats are available at a time for each appointment slot.
COVID-19 Access Notice: All researchers are required to wear a mask, wash their hands upon arrival, and follow social distancing protocols for the duration of their visit. By booking an appointment, you are agreeing to do this to protect yourself, other researchers, and our staff. If you do not follow these protective measures, you will be denied entry and/or access to collections.
