Walter Havighurst Special Collections & University Archives Research Appointment
The Walter Havighurst Special Collections & University Archives are open to all researchers, including students, faculty, and independent scholars. All researchers are required to complete a brief registration form and present valid photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, student ID, etc.). Special Collections is a closed-stacks library. All requested materials are retrieved by staff and may be used only in the Reading Room.
If you are planning to come with other people, each person must book their appointment and register separately. Only four (4) seats are available at a time for each appointment slot.
Note: Some materials are housed in remote storage. Requests to view these materials will take additional time to process — typically 2 to 3 business days. You will be contacted by a staff member if your request will take extra processing time.
